FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?

Discomfort is minimal. Most clients rate the pain between 2–4 out of 10. A high-quality numbing agent is applied before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable.

2. How long does the procedure take?

Brows typically take 3-4 hours. Lip blush takes around 3-4 hours. This includes consultation, shaping, numbing, and the actual tattooing.

3. How long does it take to heal?

Healing takes about 7–10 days on the surface, with full healing underneath the skin taking up to 4–6 weeks. You may experience mild scabbing and color fading during this time.

4. How long does cosmetic tattooing last?

Brows usually last 1–3 years. Lip blush can last 2–5 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-ups help keep the color fresh and defined.

6. What is lip blush and what does it do?

Lip blush enhances the natural lip color, defines the shape, and creates the illusion of fullness without filler. It heals into a soft tint that looks effortlessly polished.

7. Who is NOT a candidate for cosmetic tattooing?

You may not be eligible if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, on blood thinners, have uncontrolled diabetes, or have certain skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis) in the area.

8. Will my brows or lips look too dark after the appointment?

Yes, initially. The pigment will appear darker the first few days, but will fade 30–50% as it heals. The final color settles in by week 4–6.

9. How should I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours before. Do not wax or tint brows. For lips, exfoliate gently and stay hydrated for 2–3 days prior.

10. Do I need a touch-up?

Yes, most clients need a perfecting session 6–8 weeks after the initial appointment. This ensures pigment retention and allows any adjustments to shape or color.
